I want to request a copy of my own data. Please help me, using the Robin Hood Data guide below.

Rules for you to follow:
1. Help me request my own data from each service, one at a time. Don't act on anyone else's account.
2. I log in and handle passwords and security checks myself. Never ask for a password or a code. If I start to share one in this chat, stop me.
3. Stick to that service's official pages, starting from the official page listed for it. Don't use other sites or outside export tools.
4. Confirm with me before submitting any export request.
5. Choose the settings in the guide: the file format, the date range and the items to tick.
6. Where the guide lists things to leave out, such as photos, videos or messages, don't request them.
7. Screens may differ from the guide. If something doesn't match, tell me rather than guessing.
8. Requesting a copy doesn't delete anything. Don't delete or change anything in my account.
9. When my export arrives, I'll open it in the tool at https://robinhooddata.applikuapp.com/tool/. It stays on my device.
10. Never ask me to paste or upload my export files into this AI, and don't offer to read them.

## Google

Steps:
1. Sign in with the Google account you use for YouTube. A computer is the safest choice.
2. Click Deselect all, because Google ticks everything you use by default.
3. Scroll down and tick My Activity.
4. Scroll down and tick YouTube and YouTube Music.
5. On the YouTube row, click All YouTube data included. Click Deselect all, tick only history, then click OK.
6. On the YouTube row, click Multiple formats. Change history from HTML to JSON, then click OK.
7. On the My Activity row, click the format button. Change Activity records from HTML to JSON, then click OK.
8. Scroll to the bottom and click Next step.
9. Keep the download link by email, the one-time option and zip files.
10. Click Create export, then wait for Google's email and click Download archive.

Leave out, so don't request these:
- Google Photos, Drive and Mail
- YouTube videos, which can add gigabytes
- Add to Drive and scheduled exports

Worth knowing:
- Check the YouTube setting says history only. Leaving videos ticked can add tens of gigabytes and split the export into many zips.
- You can't choose a date range. Google gives you whatever history it still holds.
- Check both format settings before creating the export. To change one afterwards, you need a new export.
- The archive expires after about 7 days and can be downloaded 5 times.
- Downloading doesn't delete anything from Google.
- If the zip holds only archive_browser.html, it's empty. Check that history was ticked and you used the right account.

## Facebook

Steps:
1. Open the page and sign in. You should arrive in Accounts Centre, which may be called Meta Account settings.
2. If you don't land on the export screen, open Your information and permissions, then Export your information. It may also be called Download your information.
3. Click Create export.
4. Select your Facebook profile, then click Next.
5. Select Export to device.
6. Choose to customise the information, then tick only Logged information, Ad information, Apps and websites off of Facebook, and the activity items you want.
7. Set the format to JSON and the date range to All time.
8. Check the notification email is one you read, then click Start export. Enter your password if asked.

Leave out, so don't request these:
- Messages and posts
- Connections (friends and followers)
- Personal information
- Data logs

Worth knowing:
- Set the format to JSON yourself. It's the setting that matters most.
- The download is only available for 4 days, from Available downloads on the export page.
- With several profiles, some information is available only from your main profile.
- Deleted content isn't included.

## Instagram

Steps:
1. Open the page and sign in. You should arrive in Accounts Centre, which may be called Meta Account settings.

Worth knowing:
- Keep the zip as it is once downloaded. There's no need to unzip it.
- Collect it from Available downloads soon after Instagram's email arrives, as the download window is limited.
- If Facebook and Instagram are linked, you may need a separate export for each.
- Deleted content isn't included.

## TikTok

Steps:
1. In the app, tap Profile, then the three-line menu.
2. Tap Settings and privacy, then Account.
3. Tap Download your data.
4. On the Request data tab, choose your activity and likes if the app lets you choose.
5. Set the file format to JSON.
6. Tap Request data.
7. When you're notified, open the Download data tab and tap Download.

Leave out, so don't request these:
- Direct Messages, if the app lets you exclude them
- Posts
- Followers and following
- Payment and shop details

Worth knowing:
- If the app offers only all data, your file will include messages. Our tool won't import them, but keep the file private.
- The file stays available for about 4 days once it's ready.
- You collect it in the app, on the Download data tab.
- Making a new request may cancel the previous file.

## Amazon

Expected wait: often a day or so, and up to a month

Steps:
1. Open the page and sign in.
2. Choose Your Orders. It's smaller and simpler than requesting everything.
3. Click Submit Request.
4. Open Amazon's confirmation email and click the link to validate your request.
5. Wait for the email with your secure download link, then download your files.

Leave out, so don't request these:
- Request all your data, unless you want everything Amazon holds

Worth knowing:
- There are two emails. Nothing happens until you click the first one, so check your spam folder.
- This link is for Amazon UK. Orders from other Amazon sites may need their own request.
- Your download may be called Your Orders.zip. Keep it zipped and add the whole zip to the tool.

## Spotify

Expected wait: 1 to 2 weeks, and up to 30 days
Guide date: 31 October 2026

Steps:
1. On a computer, open the page and sign in.
2. Find the Download your data section near the bottom of Account Privacy.
3. Tick Extended streaming history.
4. Click the request button.
5. Open Spotify's email and confirm the request.
6. Wait for the email saying your data is ready, then download the zip.

Leave out, so don't request these:
- Technical Log Information
- Account data on its own, as it covers only the past year

Worth knowing:
- Extended streaming history is the only option that covers your whole account lifetime.
- The email link reportedly lasts 14 days.
- The file contains IP addresses, so keep it private.
- Times are in UTC, so they may look an hour out in UK summer time.

## Netflix

Expected wait: moments, as it downloads straight away

Steps:
1. In a web browser, open your account page and sign in.
2. Select Profiles, then choose a profile.
3. Open Viewing activity.
4. If the list looks short, select Show More.
5. Select Download all at the bottom of the page.
6. Repeat for each profile, as history is kept per profile.

Worth knowing:
- If you want everything Netflix holds, use netflix.com/account/getmyinfo instead. It can take up to 30 days.
- Deleting a profile deletes its viewing history, so export first.
- Netflix warns about fake emails. If unsure, type netflix.com yourself.

Exports can take days. To see what you'll get while you wait, try it with a made-up person.
